Types of Lectures
Research Reports
These are presentations of original and own topics reflecting the current state of the object of study, or a critical and systematical analysis of a specific topic, with proposals of their own (whether inductive or deductive), evidencing contrasts.
They would include the following aspects:
- Definition and clarification of the object of study
- Summary of previous research in order to inform on the investigation process or state of the art
- Method (description of the procedure used)
- Identification of relations, contradictions, gaps and inconsistencies on the topic of study
- Final discussion and contributions
Description of Experiences
They constitute a systematic description of situations or facts observed, such as methodological procedures, and experiences or cases related to an idea, academic programs or a problem in specific.
They would include the following sections:
- Introduction (definition of the object or the aspect of study)
- Development (systematic description of the object or aspect)
- Final discussion and contributions on the object or aspect.
