Taller, presenta cinco fases para su configuración que se detallan a continuación:

1. Fase de configuración: Es para uso exclusivo del profesor en el cual se describe el taller, se anotan fechas de envío de las actividades, se asigna la calificación general, entre otros.

2. Fase de envío: A través de ella el estudiante puede enviar sus trabajos siempre y cuando el profesor haya habilitado y configurado las fechas de inicio y cierre de la actividad.

3. Fase de evaluación: Esta fase se activa si existe la evaluación de pares. En ella los estudiantes evaluarán el trabajo de otro compañero o compañera según la fecha y la asignación que haga el profesor.

4. Fase de evaluación de la calificación: Es para uso del profesor, en esta fase se calculan las calificaciones finales y se brinda retroalimentación a los evaluadores.

5. Fase de cierre: en esta última etapa el estudiante podrá observar las calificaciones que reporte el docente en el centro de calificaciones, además podrán revisar el documento que fue enviado para su respectiva evaluación.

 

Principales características:

  • Permite la evaluación de pares y la autoevaluación.
  • Facilita adjuntar un archivo o enviarlo directamente desde el editor de texto.
  • Dispone de una opción de envío de prueba que el profesor puede habilitar a modo de ejemplo.
  • Además del envío de los archivos de texto, también facilita el envío de formatos .mp4 y .mp3 que corresponden a archivos de video y audio respectivamente.
  • Los estudiantes pueden editar o eliminar sus envíos siempre y cuando aún no hayan sido evaluados, o bien, no haya expirado la fecha de recepción

 


 

Workshop Activity

It is a tool that allows the evaluation of peers; according to the configuration established by the professor, this activity also evaluates both the assignment’s submission and the work done by the peers. More information…

Workshop presents five phases for its configuration that are detailed below:

1. Configuration phase: It is for the exclusive use of the teacher, and it is where the workshop is described, dates of sending of the activities are recorded, the general qualification is assigned, among other tasks.

2. Submission Phase: Here students can upload their works, and this is only possible as long as the professor has enabled and configured the start and end dates of the activity.

3. Evaluation phase: This phase is only activated if there is a peer evaluation. In this activity, students will evaluate the work of another companion based on the date and assignment allotted by the professor.

4. Qualification’s evaluation phase: It is for the teacher's use; in this phase the final grades are calculated and feedback is given to the evaluators.

5. Closure phase: in this last stage the student will be able to observe the qualifications that the teacher publishes in the gradebook; in addition, they will be able to review the document that was sent for its respective evaluation.

 

Main features:

  • Allows peer evaluation and self-assessment.
  • Makes easy to attach files or send them directly from the text editor.
  • Has a test submission option that the professor can enable as an example for students.
  • In addition to sending text files, it is also possible to send video and audio files in their corresponding .mp4 and .mp3 formats respectively.
  • Students can edit or delete their submissions as long as they have not been evaluated or the date of submission has not expired yet.
