La herramienta Imagen oculta que se incorpora a la plataforma Moodle desde el primer cuatrimestre 2018, ofrece a los docentes una posibilidad más para diversificar su metodología.

Al igual que las herramientas que les hemos presentado anteriormente, está toma los insumos para su funcionamiento de términos que previamente se incorporaron a un glosario, o preguntas que están en una categoría del banco de preguntas o que se emplearon para construir un cuestionario, del entorno de la plataforma Moodle en la que se está generando el juego.  Se debe aclarar que, funciona únicamente con los siguientes tipos de preguntas: verdadero y falso, respuesta corta y opción múltiple.

El juego consiste en ocultar una imagen (se recomienda utilizar una imagen alusiva a la temática) la cual se divide en diferentes secciones, asignándole una pregunta a cada sección, la imagen se despeja cada vez que el estudiante contesta correctamente la pregunta, el juego finaliza hasta que el estudiante conteste todas las preguntas y se muestre la imagen completa.

 Hidden Picture Game in Moodle

The Hidden Picture game, which has been available in Moodle since the first term of 2018, offers professors one more possibility to diversify their methodology. Like the tools that we have presented before, this game takes the inputs for its operation from words and definitions that were previously incorporated into a glossary, or from questions that are in the question bank or that were used to construct a questionnaire in Moodle. It is important to mention that the Hidden Picture game works only with the following types of questions: true and false, short answer, and multiple choice.

The game consists of hiding an image (it is recommended to use an image related to the topic or content to be evaluated) which is divided into different sections, assigning a question to each section. Parts of the picture are shown each time the student answers the questions correctly. The game ends until the student answers all the questions in a correct way, and finally, the picture is shown completely.
