A partir del I cuatrimestre 2018, los usuarios de la plataforma Moodle, cuentan con la herramienta – Millonario que permite innovar los procesos educativos por medio del juego.
Esta consiste en una simulación del reconocido juego televisivo “¿Quién quiere ser millonario?”. A través de esta herramienta, los docentes de cursos virtuales pueden evaluar contenidos de forma lúdica y con ello, aumentar la motivación hacia el aprendizaje de los nuevos contenidos.
Esta herramienta toma los insumos para formular las interrogantes con preguntas que se ubican en un cuestionario elaborado para este fin, o del banco de preguntas, del mismo entorno.
Cabe destacar que, el docente desde la configuración define algunos criterios que repercuten en el nivel de competitividad, entre los que están: el número de intentos, la opción de barajar preguntas para que en cada intento se muestren en un orden diferente, fechas de inicio y cierre del juego.
Millionaire Game in Moodle
As of the 1st term in 2018, Moodle users have the Millionaire tool available to innovate educational processes through games. This consists of a simulation of the well-known television game show "Who wants to be a millionaire?" By means of this tool, professors of virtual courses can evaluate content in a playful way, increasing students’ motivation towards learning new content.
This tool takes the inputs to formulate inquiries with questions that are located in a questionnaire prepared for this purpose, or the bank of questions, from the same online platform.
It should be noted that the professor, from the configuration of the activity, defines some criteria that affect the level of competitiveness, among which are the number of attempts, the option to shuffle questions so that each attempt is displayed in a different order, the start and end dates of the game.
